reflecting

I have wanted to teach children since I was a child. My Nana was a schoolteacher and I remember helping her grade papers on the weekends. We as grandchildren always got pencils and pens with our names on them. I always thought they were cool.

I am due to graduate in the next 2 years, have been thinking of doing Special Education for awhile. Along comes all these new laws and now any subject that a child learns must be from a teacher certified in that area. So this would mean I have to get certified in all possible areas I would teach social studies, math, reading, english, science, etc. I will never get out of school! I need to step back and decide what I should do.
